We Support
We are often asked, “What makes Bridging the Gap different from other Christian men’s ministry groups?” Good question.
Believing in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior is paramount. We hope to reflect that in our daily lives with whomever we come in contact. And many of us are involved in other Christian groups, worship and service activities.
But from the beginning, we drew our circle around racial harmony, love, understanding and reconciliation. Racism is a terrible sin and one that has torn society and this country apart for centuries. By understanding what Christ and the scriptures tell us about how we are to treat our fellow brothers and sisters of all races, we hone in on a human trait – often unrecognized and buried – that has the ability to destroy man and God’s creation.
We choose not to let that happen. We choose love.
The following organizations are ones in which many of us are involved or support in addition to Bridging the Gap and encourage their mission. You may want to check them out as well.
